Yoruba Union Provides Support For Lukman Abdusalam After Kwarareporters Story

Following the recent publication by KwaraReporters highlighting the challenges faced by Lukman, Yoruba Union (Igbìmó Màjékóbájé Ilé-Yorúbá) swiftly mobilized its members in Nigeria and the Diaspora to raise funds and provide essential support to improve his quality of life.

Mr Lukman Abdusalam, a courageous individual who has faced numerous hardships, caught the attention of both KwaraReporters and the Yoruba Union. Lukman's predicament, which was brought to the public's attention through the news outlet's publication, struck a chord with Yoruba Union, compelling them to take action.

The first step in this remarkable initiative involves replacing Lukman's worn wheelchair and covering the expenses of his much-needed surgery.

Additionally, Yoruba Union aims to empower Lukman by setting up a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) business for him. This entrepreneurial venture will not only enable him to become self-sufficient but also provide a sustainable source of income to support himself and his family.

Also, the Yoruba union has provided financial support to cover all of Mr Lukman's medical expenses at a private hospital in Ilorin, Kwara State. The union has also awarded scholarships to two of his children, ensuring their education from primary school through university level.

The collaborative efforts of Yoruba Union and KwaraReporters highlight the power of unity and the impact that can be achieved when individuals and organizations come together for a noble cause. By leveraging their collective resources and networks, they are striving to make a lasting difference in Lukman Abdusalam's life, alleviating his struggles and providing him with the support he desperately needs.

This heartwarming initiative serves as a shining example of the compassion and generosity that exists within society. It demonstrates the potential we all have to transform lives and create positive change when we stand together.

The story of Lukman Abdusalam and the subsequent response from Yoruba Union and KwaraReporters serves as a testament to the power of unity, compassion, and the unwavering resilience of the human spirit.
