Olushola Odetundun Expresses Condolences To KWHA Speaker, Clerk Over Brother's Death
In a show of empathy and solidarity, the member representing Irepodun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Olushola Odetundun has commiserated with the Speaker and Clerk of the House, Rt. Honourable (Engr.) Salihu YAKUBU Danladi and Hajia Jummai Kperogi over the death of their brother, Hon Mohammed Salihu.
Hon Mohammed Salihu, a former Executive Chairman of Baruten Local Government Council, passed away on Thursday evening after a brief illness. His death has been described as a great loss to the people of Baruten Local Government Area and Kwara State as a whole.
Hon Olushola Odetundun expressed his deep condolences to the Speaker and Clerk of the House, describing Hon Mohammed Salihu as a man of integrity, who served his people with diligence and commitment. He urged them to take solace in the fact that their brother lived a life worthy of emulation and made his mark in the service of humanity.
"The death of Hon Mohammed Salihu has left a huge vacuum in the political landscape of Kwara State, and his contributions to the development of Baruten Local Government Area will always be remembered."
Additionally, the lawmaker offered prayers for the deceased's soul to rest in peace and for strength to be granted to his family and loved ones in order to endure the loss.
