Inauguration: Odetundun Hosts Constituents, Well-Wishers In Thanksgiving Service And Reception
Hon. Shola Odetundun, the newly inaugurated member of the Kwara State House of Assembly representing Irepodun Constituency, yesterday, hosted his constituents, members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and well-wishers in a three-part thanksgiving service and reception held in Agbonda community.
The event began with a thanksgiving service at St. Stephens Anglican Church in Agbonda, where Hon. Odetundun and his wife, Barr. Anu Odetundun, expressed gratitude to God for their successful inauguration and prayed for the progress and development of their constituency.
After the church service, the guests were treated to a reception at Hon. Odetundun's family house in Agbonda. The reception was marked with various entertaining activities such as musical performances, cultural displays, and speeches from APC party leaders and community stakeholders.
In his address, Hon. Odetundun thanked his constituents and supporters for their unwavering support and trust in him during the election process. He also expressed his commitment to the growth and development of Irepodun Constituency, promising to prioritize the needs of his constituents and work tirelessly to ensure their well-being.
The lawmaker expresses gratitude to Governor Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his leadership and assures him of his ongoing loyalty.
The event was attended by various dignitaries, including the KWHA Member Representing Ekiti Constituency, Hon. Gani Abolarin, APC party leaders led by the Kwara State APC Chairman Prince Sunday Fagbemi and Prince Shuaib Olanrewaju, TIC Irepodun Comr. Jide Oyinloye, Irepodun traditional council led by the Olomu of Omu-aran Oba Abdulraheem Oladele Adeoti (fnitp), religious leaders, Government Appointees; The Former S.A Political Communication to the kwara state Governor, Alhaji Bashir Adigun, KWIRS Chairperson Engr. Mrs Shade Omoniyi, Commissioner of Public Complaints Commission Mr. Bidemi Olawuyi and other Stakeholders in Irepodun Federal Constituency.
