Eid-el-kabir: Triple-A Congratulates Kwara Muslims
Hon Ayodele Ayodimeji Azeez, also known as Triple A, has extended his warmest greetings to the Muslim faithful in Kwara State and beyond, on the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.
In a statement released on Wednesday Triple A congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Hajj rites and the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir, which commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to Allah.
He urged Muslims to imbibe the lessons of sacrifice, devotion, and obedience to Allah, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim, and use the occasion to reflect on their relationship with God and their fellow human beings.
Triple A also called on Muslims to use the occasion to pray for peace and unity in the country, especially in Kwara State, which he described as a melting pot of diverse cultures and religions.
He urged Muslims to continue to demonstrate love, kindness, and generosity to one another, irrespective of their religious or ethnic affiliations, and to work towards building a more peaceful and prosperous society.
Finally, Triple A wished all Muslim faithful a happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration and prayed that Allah would accept their sacrifices and grant their prayers.
