Gobir Sends Warm Greetings To Nigerian Children On Children's Day, May 27
As Nigeria celebrates Children's Day on May 27, Alhaji Waziri Yakubu Gobir, has sent his warmest greetings to all Nigerian children.
In a statement released on Saturday Alhaji Gobir expressed his deep love and concern for the well-being of Nigerian children, saying that they are the future of the country and should be given all the support and care they need to grow up healthy, happy and educated.
He also urged parents, guardians, teachers and caregivers to redouble their efforts in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive in, and to ensure that their rights and welfare are protected at all times.
Waziri, who is the founder and chairman of the Gobir Organization Foundation, a non-profit organization that focuses on education, healthcare and social welfare initiatives, reiterated his commitment to supporting Nigerian children through various interventions that promote their health, education and overall well-being.
He called on other well-meaning Nigerians and organizations to join hands in making a positive difference in the lives of children, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds, who are often the most vulnerable and in need of support.
"As Nigeria marks Children's Day, it is a time for reflection on the challenges facing the country's children and a call to action to create a better future for them". Waziri's message of hope and encouragement is a timely reminder of the important role that each individual can play in building a brighter future for Nigerian children.
