Gobir Mourns With Erinle Community On The Passing Of Elerin
Alhaji Waziri Yakubu Gobir, a prominent Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, has expressed his condolences to the people of Erinle community in Kwara State on the passing of their traditional ruler, the Elerin of Erin Ile, Oba AbdulGaniyu Ajibola Olusokun II (MFR).
In a statement issued by his media office, Alhaji Gobir described the late monarch as a great leader who will be sorely missed by his people and the entire state.
He said, "I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the Elerin of Erin Ile, Oba AbdulGaniyu Ajibola Olusokun II. He was a great leader who served his people with distinction and left a lasting legacy of peace, progress, and development in Erinle community and beyond."
Alhaji Gobir, who is also the founder of the Gobir Organization Foundation, extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late monarch, as well as the Erinle community, and prayed for the repose of his soul.
He urged the people of Erinle to take solace in the fact that Oba Olusokun II lived a life of service to his people and left behind a rich legacy of achievements.
