AbdulRazaq Gets CON National Honours Award
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is billed to receive the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) award from the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The CON is one of the special national honours bestowed on eminent Nigerians.
The Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs made the announcement, noting it had obtained approval from President Muhammadu Buhari to present special national awards on deserving personalities.
Governor AbdulRazaq has just emerged the new Chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum (NGF).
He also won his re-election bid in Kwara State in what has been described as a landslide victory.
In the last four years, the Kwara State Governor has led transformative policies, programmes and ideas that have had huge impact on the socioeconomic configuration of the state.
He is widely adjudged as one of the best performing governors in the country.
AbdulRazaq is also a champion of women and youth inclusion in politics and governance. He has won several awards and laurels for his incredible strides in government.
