Ramadan: Ayodele Distributes Gifts To Widows In Jebba
Hon. Ayodele Azeez Ayodimeji (Triple-A), a Grassroot mobilizer has once again shown his commitment to improving the lives of the less privileged in his community Jebba in Moro LGA, by giving cash, food, and clothes gifts to widows during the holy month of Ramadan.
The gesture, which was carried out on Sunday, April 2, 2023, was aimed at providing support to the widows who have been fasting during the holy month and may not have the means to provide for themselves and their families.
Hon. Ayodimeji, who is known for his philanthropic activities, said the gift was his little way of showing love and care to the widows in the community during this blessed month.
Speaking at the event, he said: "Ramadan is a special time of the year for Muslims all over the world, and I am committed to supporting those in need during this holy month. The widows in our community are an important part of our society, and I am happy to be able to provide them with some relief during this time."
The widows, who were grateful for the support, expressed their appreciation to Hon. Ayodimeji for his kindness.
One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Afolabi Salamat, said: "We are grateful to Hon. Ayodimeji for his generous gift during this holy month. This will help us and our families in our daily needs."
The event was attended by other community youth leaders, who commended Hon. Ayodimeji's efforts in supporting the less privileged in the community.
Hon. Ayodimeji's commitment to improving the lives of his constituents, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, is a testament to his dedication to the welfare of the people of Kwara State.
