Tiv Communities In Irepodun Local Government Endorses Olushola Odetundun

It was pomp, on Friday as representatives of Tiv communities in Irepodun local government filled the Agbonda town hall in support of Olushola Odetundun's Assembly ambition.

Delegates from all nooks and crannies of Irepodun including organizations strategically formed towards improving the welfare of the Tiv ethnic group were present.

While women fora with similar objectives equally attended the meeting to signify the readiness of the Tiv people from Ilala/Okeya Ipo to Oro, Esie district, Oko/ Ola through Omuaran to Aranorin, Arandun, Omido, Agbonda, Agbamu, Egudu, and Eju end.

They were all united in praise of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, with emphasis on the success of the Hon. Olushola Odetundun candidature. 

The coronated head of the Tiv in Kwara state, king Joe, spoke extensively on the Hon. Olushola Odetundun project, analyzing the need for committed Tiv men and women to vote for APC candidates in the coming elections. At hand to spread the progressive gospel of APC was High chief Bode Adekanye, a seasoned veteran in the field of politics and a high-ranking traditional chief of Agbonda land. Equally present was High chief Bolare Jolayemi-Adedoyin, an astute politician and a high-ranking member of the Arigbamu in council of Agbamu land. They both admonished the Tiv community to appreciate a government that is ready to encourage commercial farming and a better life for rural dwellers. 

Filled with the joy of an overwhelming acceptance from people that are not politicians, but sincere observers of political developments in Kwara state.

Hon. Odetundun promised to keep the flag of success started from 2019 flying if elected into office .

Traditional songs and dances of the Tiv people were displayed to cap the historic event.
