Tinubu/Shettima: Kwara First Lady Inaugurates North Central Women Campaign Team

Kwara State First Lady and the Coordinator of the North Central Zone of the Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential Campaign Team, Ambassador Dr Olufolake Abdulrazaq today 11th November inaugurated the team at an event held in Abuja the Federal Capital Territory.

Ambassador Abdulrazaq during the inauguration ceremony enjoined members of the team to remain committed to the goal of delivering resounding victory for the candidacy of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima and indeed the other members of the zone in the forthcoming elections.

Following preparations during a zoom meeting earlier held, A work plan was unveiled at the event to guide the team. The workplan also highlighted strategies to be employed in the campaigns which include door to door engagement, town hall meetings and educating people at the grassroots amongst others.

The Zonal Coordinator however thanked His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress for gender inclusivity by setting up the Women Presidential Campaign Team with over a thousand members.

Amb Dr Abdulrazaq also thanked the grand patron of the Women Presidential Campaign Team, the First Lady of Nigeria Dr. Aisha Buhari for providing quality leadership while she commended the Chairperson Senator Dr. Oluremi Tinubu and Co Chairperson Hajia Nana Shettima for their unflinching support.

Earlier the North Central Zonal women leader Princess Zahra Audu commended the North Central Zonal Coordinator and assured of North Central Women’s resolve to come out enmasse in support of Tinubu/Shettima presidency. Several members made follow on speeches followed by an interactive session.

The event was attended by Commissioners, women leaders across the zone, candidates, wives of candidates, aspirants, PCC and PCT members, contact and mobilisation team and others.
