Reps Ambition: I Would Play the Role Of Your Father -Elesie To Charles Folayan

The Elesie of Esie, His Royal Highness Oba Yakubu Babalola Agboola, Eegunjobi II has declared that he would play the role of a father to the YPP House of Reps Candidate for Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency Charles Olufemi Folayan (Asoju Odo) over his 2023 ambition.
The royal father declared this in his palace at Esie town yesterday while hosting Asoju Odo Charles Folayan who visited his palace for consultations and royal blessings ahead of his campaign flag off.
In his statement, Oba Yakubu Babalola extols the virtues of Charles’s late father Oba Michael Adeoti Folayan (Elekan of Ekan 1974-2007) who he described as a true friend and an hero.
“I’m emotional to see you vying for this office, I had know that this time would come. I’m happy and grateful to God that this is happening in my lifetime. Your father was a true friend, he worked tirelessly for the development of his community and the entire state, he is indeed an hero. I wish he was here to witness this but God knows the best. I would not only pray for you my son, I would play my roles in place of your father. God would help us.
After praying for Asoju Odo, Oba Eegunjobi told his visitors to believe that the race is a success already. He urged them to give Folayan the maximum support needed.
“To all of you who accompanied him, God would help you too. Please have the belief that this is a success and give him the maximum support you can offer. He is my son and he would not disappoint Inshallah.
