Shola Odetundun Donates Educational Materials To Schools In Kwara

The front runner candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Kwara House of Assembly candidate for Irepodun constituency in the forthcoming 2023 polls, Hon. Shola Odetundun, has reiterated his love for Education by equipping hundreds of students in Secondary schools in Ipetu Rore Aran-Orin in Irepodun Local Goverment with writing materials.
Speaking during the distribution of the materials, the Assembly Hopeful who was ably represented by Hon. Femi Ajide, a critical stakeholder in Irepodun politics and a leading member of Team Olushola Odetundun campaign Organization, said the programme was part of his initiative to cushion the financial burden of parents as well as encourage students to seek academic excellence.
According to him, investment in education is not a waste at any point as it remains the only way to liberate a country and a tool for nation-building.
He further said the gesture was borne out of Hon. Shola Odetundun's belief that education is key to human development, adding that it was important to catch them young, with a promise to always give priority to educating the young ones in his Constituency if elected.
He noted that laying a good foundation for these pupils in the elementary schools is very important, especially at the primary and secondary level, saying that it will give him the joy to see the children grow into useful adults.
In a gratitude filed vote of thanks read by the principal of aran- Orin comprehensive high school, Mr Olatoye, he wished Hon. Olushola Odetundun success in the coming election affirming that his move on the distribution of exercise books to the students is very strategic and timely.
Hon. Femi Ajide advised students of IPETU community secondary school to make the best use of the opportunity and justify the patriotic gesture of Hon. Odetundun.
Students of Government Day secondary school, Rode and Community secondary school, Olomi- oja, Aran- Orin were not left out in the philanthropic move.
Both students, parents and teachers at IPETU, RORE, ARAN-ORIN prayed for the success of APC in the coming election, with emphasis on political success of Hon. Olushola Odetundun.
