Oyin-Zubair Urges Prayers For Nigeria's Stability And The Re-election Of Governor AbdulRazaq
...As KOZ Intervention identifies with widows at Igbaja and Ilorin to commemorate Independence Anniversary
Some groups of women on this day offered prayers for the stability of Nigeria to commemorate Nigeria's 62nd Independence Anniversary held concurrently at Igbaja and Ilorin at the instance of the KOZ Intervention office; an initiative of the senior special assistant to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on community intervention.
The women who gathered earlier in the day prayed that Nigeria would overcome all challenges currently confronting her. The prayer session centred on quick economic recovery and total extermination of bandits terrorizing parts of the country.
In a similar vein, prayers were offered for peaceful elections in the coming year and the return of the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. While commending his various interventions at bringing succour to the people of the State, they prayed to God to grant him more strength as he round up the first four years of his eight years in the saddle of the State.
In a message to the women, Temitope Oluwagbamila and Oluwashogo Afolayan who represented the senior special assistant to the Governor on community intervention, Kayode Oyin-Zubair appreciated the women for always standing strong amidst economic and political challenges. He was optimistic that things would get better and Nigerians would smile again. Prayers were equally offered for the Governor's aide.
