Odetundun Congratulates Olomu Of Omu-Aran On 66th Birthday, 4th Year Coronation

The All Progressive Congress, APC, Kwara House of Assembly candidate for Irepodun constituency in the forthcoming 2023 polls, Hon. Shola Odetundun, has congratulated the Olomu of Omu-Aran, Oba Abdulraheem Adeoti, on his 66th birthday anniversary and commemoration of his 4th year on the throne of his forbearers.

In a statement made available to the press on Thursday in Omu-Aran, Odetundun lauded the monarch for making the Omu-Aran Kingdom peaceful and conducive for investment since ascending the exalted throne.

He remarked that the monarch had within the period, also been instrumental to some economic initiatives to rejuvenate commerce in his domain.

Odetundun described the Olomu as “a man of peace, a bridge-builder and profound integrity” whose tenure so far was already recording a positive turnaround in the lives of his subjects and the kingdom.

He also commended the revered royal father for his unwavering support for good governance and awakening of consciousness for civic responsibility, and for rallying his subjects in that direction.

He described the monarch as beacon of hope for the people and urged him to remain steadfast on his mission to ensure that the people had good life, and peace in the state.

“On this auspicious occasion of your birthday anniversary, I join your family, friends and well-wishers to thank the Almighty God for your life which has been marked by outstanding accomplishments and enduring contributions to discourse within Kwara South and the state at large.” Hon. Odetundun said.

“Your royal interventions have been notable in entrepreneurship, youth engagement, scholarships. You are a pride to the royal institution and Kwara state. We cannot thank you enough,” he added.

“I congratulate you and pray that the
Almighty God gives you wisdom, peace and happiness. Enjoy this day to the fullest! Happy birthday to you,” Hon. Odetundun said.

He urged the king to hold God first in all his endeavours, and prayed that the Almighty Father would give him long life and good health as he shepherds his people traditionally and culturally.
