Tribute To Ambassador Dr (Mrs) Olufolake AbdulRazaq At 55 By Adeniyi Adeyinka
Ambassador Olufolake Abdulrazaq is no doubt a woman of many parts with sheer organisational ability, mobilisation prowess, uncommon acumen, and a diplomat per excellence.
Think of strength, resilience, courage and finesse, think of Olufolake. Dutiful, adorable, eclectic, compassionate, motherly, a charismatic technocrat and leader with panache, passion and fervour that traverse diverse spectrum and appealing to all social strata, she is at home with the grassroots as she is with the elite.
A welcoming woman, down to earth, selfless and humility personified. Ambassador Abdulrazaq is a great blessing to humanity. A cool, calm, and cerebral individual, she is to everyone that comes across her a God-sent angel, especially for her dedication and penchant to the betterment of all women regardless of background.
The Erelu of Ilado and Inagbe Islands of Lagos, Yeye Aare Soludero of Offa, Labinjo of Eti Oni, Mama Kwara among many of her earned titles and monikers, she is focused and practical but affable in her own way.
In government and social interventions she has proven to all and sundry that she is a problem solver hence the European American University awarded her Doctor of science
Honoris Causa (DSC Hons) in Excellent Governance and social empowerment.
Also the Geofidel Institute for Leadership and Management, London, United Kingdom in recognition of her contributions to gender development also honoured Dr Abdulrazaq with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Gender Development (DGD).
As the saying goes that there is a woman behind every successful man, Ambassador Abdulrazaq has proven this by being there for her knight in shinning armour, the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, who has been praised far and near as the best thing that is happening to Kwara people in the recent times.
After 55 years on this terrestrial ball, Ambassador Olufolake Abdulrazaq has not slowed down one bit. Her charm, health and upbeat attitude are an inspiration to us all. Her contributions to the development of women and youths in all spheres are unequalled.
Your Excellency ma, obviously you wear 55 well as you still look 30s. Reaching this age is a great accomplishment, but you make it seem easy and effortless. Hence, on this occasion of your 55th birthday I pray the Almighty God in His infinite mercy continues to be with you and grant you good health for the rest of your days.
