Comm. Of Finance, Florence Organizes Prayer For AbdulRazaq 2nd Term Bid, Empowers 200 Petty Traders

Religious leaders and residents of Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State on Saturday offered prayers for a second-term re-election of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in the state.

This special prayer, held in Ilofa, headquarters of the local council, was part of the empowerment programme by the state Commissioner of Finance, Hon. Florence Olasunmbo Oyeyemi.

The commissioner dolled out cash to 200 petty traders in the area.

The prayer was led by the chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Oke-Ero, Reverend Andrew Oyekan Aremu and Chief Imam, Alhaji Babatunde Sulyman.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq was represented at the event by his deputy Mr Kayode Alabi.

Speaking, one of the beneficiaries of the empowerment scheme, Mrs Ayoola Omoniyi, appreciated the gesture and promised to add the money to her business.

“We thank our commissioner, not for this in particular but for all that she has been doing for us. I will add the money to my business. We assured them of our support because we want the good work to continue beyond 2023” 

The event was graced by the APC executive led the the state chairman, Chief Sunday Fagbemi, National Assembly member, Hon. Olawuyi Ajuloopin, members of the state House of Assembly and executive.

Erection of 3 boreholes in the district of Oke Ero Local Government; 1. Ilale Erinmope/Imogi Ward (Ekan Meje District) 2. Odo Owa Ward (Illofa Odo Owa District),3. Idofin Igbana Ward (Idofin Igbana District).
