Asoju Odo Receives Rotary Award for Humanitarian Services

The YPP House of Reps Candidate for Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency, Charles Olufemi Folayan also known as “Asoju Odo” has received an award for humanitarian services from the Rotary Club of Ilorin New Dawn yesterday 20th of August, 2022.
The award was presented to him at the installation of the 5th President of the Club. According to the Organization, Asoju Odo was found worthy of recognition for his tireless effort and outstanding performance in addressing issues of human development and humanitarian services towards mankind.
Charles Olufemi Folayan is the Executive Director and Founder of the Re-Orientation Advocacy Foundation of Nigeria, a Non-for Profit Organization with national and international recognition focusing on youth and women development.
He is the Founder of the Asoju Odo youth development centers which offers free vocational trainings for indigent youth and women. The centers are located in Ekan-Meje Kwara State and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Had has also consistently facilitates youth and women capacity building programmes both at the state, national and international levels in the last one decade.
He made personal donations for the development and renovation of some primary, secondary and tertiary schools in his constituency over the years and supports some indigent students, youth and women.
As part of his effort to develop young people in sports, he founded the Asoju Odo Football Club in 2016 and also sponsors several youth programmes in many communities in his local government and environs.
He also played some significant roles during the COVID-19 lockdown by facilitating support to the vulnerable people in some rural communities and IDPs in Nigeria.
Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian intervention, high ethical standard in all vacations and help build goodwill and peace among people.
