AbdulRazaq Pays Working Visit To Ilorin Visual Arts Centre


Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has on Monday paid a working visit to the Ilorin Visual Arts Centre.

The Governor inspected the progress and quality of the construction works at the facility in company of Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode Towoju.

The Ilorin Visual Arts Centre is one of the legacy projects of the AbdulRazaq led administration. 

When completed, it will be the first purpose-built contemporary film and art institute in West Africa and the second Dolby Atmos Certified film production studio in the region. It is a project that will not only make the state the go-to place in the creative and entertainment industry but also create jobs and sustainable growth.

The Visual Arts Centre is a purpose-built cultural museum of visual and cinematic arts that encompasses post-production studio facilities, galleries and screening space, among others.

The facility will also place Kwara State on the global map of entertainment. It has the potential of drawing investors to the state, with the domino effect of boosting the local economy and creating jobs for Kwarans.

In the last three years, Governor AbdulRazaq has made huge investments in technology, knowing full well it's the future and new oil.
