Courts Stops Access To N42 Billion Of Alleged Ponzi Scheme


The Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa has granted an ex-parte order restraining a betting firm, 86 Football Technology Limited and her payment gateway providers, Flutterwave Technology Solutions Limited, Paystack Payment Limited, Monnify Financial Investment Limited and Interswitch Limited from tampering with funds of investors in their coffers.

Also cited as respondents in the suit filed by one Adebayo Adedoyin and two other plaintiffs, on behalf of 43 others, were First Bank, Keystone Bank and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC which is being joined to investigate the activities of 86 Football Technology alleged to have defrauded Nigerian investors to the tune of billions of Naira.
