APC Candidate: Bode George Asks PDP To Restrategise
Former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olabode George yesterday reacted to the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to him, it is a pity that Asiwaju is the best the APC could throw up as its candidate.
Speaking with Daily Trust, the PDP leader said the opposition party would have to restrategise and be tactical to defeat Tinubu, adding, “It would be an interesting competition.”
Daily Trust reports that George has been a fierce critic of Tinubu and has even promised to relocate if Tinubu becomes the President of Nigeria.
Reacting to his emergence as the APC candidate, George said the PDP would have to mobilise the entire country to tell them the kind of person Tinubu is.
He said while the party would be tactical about the race.
