Ayilara Withdraws From House Of Assembly Race
The house of Assembly member representing Ilorin North Constituency, Honorable Abdulgafar Ayinla Ayilara has withdrawn from the house of assembly race to seek a return.
This was made known in a phone conversation by the incumbent House of assembly member who disclosed his intent to withdraw from seeking a return to office in the coming 2023 election.
Ayilara while speaking with our correspondence this afternoon confirmed the news, said his decision to withdraw from the race was on a personal ground.
"The news is true, am withdrawing from the race and my decision is on personal ground."
He however debunked the fact that he was threatened by outside sources to withdraw from the race which he affirmed that his withdrawal from the race is a sacrifice that must be at this vital time to ensure that the party decision comes to stand in a bid to ensure continuity in the government of Mall.
