Kwara PDP Spokesman, Ashaolu Dies Hours After Birthday Celebration
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Kwara State has been bereaved as the party’s Publicity Secretary, Tunde Ashaolu is confirmed dead.
Report reaching Naija News at the moment confirmed that Ashaolu (left in the photo above) died on Sunday evening.
The politician died just a day after celebrating his birthday.
KWARAREPORTERS NEWS understands that Ashaolu and former Chairman Ekiti local government, Kwara, Akintoba Fatigue, share the same birthday date and both were hosted to a get-together in Abuja by the former Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki during the weekend.
Unfortunately, Ashaolu gave up the ghost just a few hours after enjoying a gig with Saraki and his co-celebrant.
Confirming the sad development in a Facebook post, a friend and colleague of the deceased, Billy Adedamola, announced thus: “We lost this evening, a friend and brother, Tunde Ashaolu, Kwara state publicity secretary of PDP.
“He marked his birthday yesterday in Abuja where he was celebrated by the former President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki and today he has gone to meet his creator. Tunde was a loyal, dedicated and hard-working party man. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.”
