Gov. AbdulRazaq Will Continue To Make Women Priority -Hon. Adetiba
The Kwara State House of Assembly Deputy Speaker, and Honourable representing Oke-Ero constituency, Hon. Raphael-Adetiba Olanrewaju has given the women folks of the Kwara State chapter of the All progressive Congress (APC) the assurance of the administration of Gov. AbdulRazaq's supports.
Hon. Adetiba gave the assurance during a courtesy visit by the Kwara State AA Women Support group AJIKE to his office in Ilorin, the state capital.
"I must commend your efforts and support at all times for this present administration led by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq. Recently, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq signed an executive bill mandating the state to have at least 35% women appointees in the state executive council and other classes of political appointments. I believe this alone has shown that this administration has not left the women behind and I can assure you that this administration will continue to support Kwara women at all time,", Hon. Adetiba said in his speech.
The Deputy Speaker also urged the group not to relent on the good work they have started so that AA will be the Kwara state Governor till 2027.
The forum, which consists of APC women across the State, appreciated the Deputy Speaker for his contributions to the development of Kwara State and for standing with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and supporting the AA agenda of a second term in office.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Alhaja Taiye Omotosho described Hon. Adetiba as a true lover and supporter of AA, noting that the Honourable who is representing Oke-Ero constituency also projects AA agenda for second term.
Alhaja Omotosho promised that the group is fully ready to work in their capacity with the Deputy Speaker so that AA will be reelected as Governor of Kwara State.
