In celebration of the first anniversary, management and staff members of Diamond 88.7 FM, Ilorin on Wednesday paid homage to the Emir of Ilorin, Alh. Dr. Ibrahim Zulu Gambari CFR at the palace for his royal blessings
The members of the Radio Station led by the station supervisory director, Mr. Jolaoluwa Afolabi better known as Jabulani appreciated the Emir for being at the forefront of oneness and unity of Ilorin Emirate and State as a whole
It will be recalled, Emir of Ilorin was a special guest during the opening of Diamond FM last year which the Emir prayed for the station to succeed in the business
Mr. Jolaoluwa further said They are in Palace to tell the Emir their journey in the last year and to seek royal blessing, You are an emblem of peace and development, He said
While responding, tthe Emir expressed excitement over their visit, as he prayed for their never-ending exaltation in all their endeavors also prayed and wished for them more prosperous years to celebrate great accomplishments
He urged them to always stick by the ethics of the profession, and also implored them to be up and doing while discharging their duties, added that what is worth doing is worth doing well
Maimartaba also enjoined them to work towards a good image and the development of Kwara State and Nigeria at large
