Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr Looking Forward To A Sure Sack By NFF

Gernot Rohr was appointed the head coach of the Nigeria senior national football team in August 2016 and he has indeed kept his record of been the longest-serving Super Eagles coach since 1994, in his  time of coaching, he has being faced with likely dismissal for a couple of times which he gracefully scaled through based on reasons best known to the board, though there was at a time he decided to stay on his own for certain reasons.

Within his years of coaching the Super Eagles, the 66-year-old had led Nigeria to become the first African side to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and also to a third-place finish at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Rohr is faced with an utmost assurance of getting sacked this time around following the results from the recently concluded FIFA World Cup qualifiers match last month, where in the table, the Super Eagles were defeated by Central African Republic defeated in Lagos, drawing criticisms from a large section of football fans across Nigeria and now followed by a 1-1 draw against Cape Verde, these has made sponsors of the Super Eagles team raise eyebrows at his performance as they see it leading to no success and waste of investment for them.

Minister for Sports Sunday Dare has made up a meeting for next week with the board involved (NFF) to have a sitting talk over the future of the Super Eagles coach.
