KWSG/SIMBA TVS Flags Off Free Service Of Recently Launched 100 Tricycles On Wednesday


Kwara State Government and SIMBA TVS, manufacturers of TVS tricycles will on Wednesday flag off free engine service of the recently launched 100 TVS tricycles as part of incentives promised beneficiaries of the scheme.

Senior Special Assistant on Community Intervention to the Governor of Kwara State, Kayode Oyin-Zubair said everything government promised the beneficiaries have been built to run unhindered. 

“Our government is a responsible one and we are committed to everything that will make life better for our people. The scheme is first of its kind in Nigeria with the manufacturing company working with the government to ensure all these vehicles (3-wheeler) are running at all times.

“The first free service will come up on Wednesday 15, September 2021 at the Metropolitan Square Ilorin starting by 8:00am. This is one out of many incentives we have for the beneficiaries. We are committed to the wellbeing of our people in Kwara State. We are bringing more innovations for the beneficiaries of the second phase.

“We are encouraged by the outpouring of encomiums from well meaning Nigerians, particularly the leadership of tricycle riders in the country under Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria (TOAN) describing the gesture as first of its kind in Nigeria.

 “I shall declare the service camp open alongside the SIMBA TVS Service Manager (SW), Mr. Varinder Jha.” Oyin-Zubair emphasized.
