Olupako Of Share Was Never Disrespected By Oshatimehin, Says Share Descendants' Union

The National leadership of Share Descendants' Union has described as false, the insinuation that a Commissioner nominee, Harriet Afolabi-Oshatimehin disrespected the stool of Olupako of Share. 

In a statement signed by the Union's National President, titled "Re-Olupako Disrespected and Embarrassed", the Union said "It has been brought to the notice of the Palace of the Olupako of Share, insinuations circulating on the social media as contained in a petition written by one Engr. Adeniyi Olumide from Igbaja, alleging a Commissioner-nominee, Adenike Afolabi-Oshatimehin of disrespecting and embarrassing the Olupako of Share, HRH Oba Haruna Olawale Sulaiman-Usman Ilufemiloye Adegbite ll."

"This insinuation is false in its entirety, as there was no time the said nominee, Adenike Afolabi-Oshatimehin nor anybody from within and outside the Igbomina land disrespected or embarrassed the exalted stool of the Olupako as well as the person of Oba Haruna Olawale Sulaiman-Usman Ilufemiloye Adegbite ll."

The statement added, "It is on this note that we issue this stern warning to all sons and daughters of Igbomina land and indeed all and sundry to desist from dragging the stool of Olupako and the person of Oba Haruna Olawale Sulaiman-Usman Ilufemiloye Adegbite ll into whatever differences, be it political or what have you. HRH Oba Haruna Olawale Sulaiman is a father to all and sundry regardless of political affiliation."

The Union enjoins all sons and daughters of Igbomina land to put divisive politics at bay and come together across divides for the benefit of the entire Igbomina land.
