The final funeral rites for Mama Comfort Ibitomola Oba, the Matriarch of the Oba Family, of Ayetoro-Gbedde in Ijumu local government area of Kogi state has kicked off.

KwaraReporters! reports that a memorial service had earlier held for the deceased on May 29, 2021 at Great Hill Baptist Church 10500 Jollyville road, Austin, Texas 78759.

KwaraReporters! gathered that the final rites, a two day ceremony, will kicked off tomorrow, Friday, July 2nd, 2021 as the corpse leaves the mortuary in Kabba town for Ayetoro-Gbedde.

Lying in state will start by 2pm

at the family house at No 25 Otun Quarters, Ayetoro-Gbedde while service of songs and Christian wake will hold at same venue by 5pm. 

The funeral and outing service will hold at First Baptist Church, Ayetoro-Gbedde by 10am while internment will follow immediately.

Reception and entertainment of guests will hold at Baptist primary school field immediately after the internment.
