NANS Condemned The Abduction Of Kaduna Students, Call For Immediate Release
The National President of the National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS) Comrade Abdulmajeed O. Oyeniyi has reacted to the abduction of students of Bethel Baptist School in Kaduna State saying it is one which exposes the high level of insecurity bedeviling the country.
In his statement, he expresses dissatisfaction over the incident and urged the Federal and State Governments to make concerted efforts at ending of forms of insecurities in Nigeria.
Comr. Abdulmajeed O. Oyeniyi made it known while addressing the press in Abuja that the National Association of Nigerian Students will not take the security of Nigerian students with a hand of levity.
The National President of NANS, Comrade AbdulMajeed O. Oyeniyi hereby call for immediate release of the abducted students and urge the Kaduna State Government to use everything within their powers in ensuring the innocent students are released as soon as possible.
Furthermore, AbdulMojeed tasked the Federal Government to deploy security operatives and ensure uninterrupted surveillance and regular patrol of schools especially in the northern part of the country where kidnapping and abduction of students had become the new normal.
Finally, the NANS National President pleaded to the abductors to stop kidnapping innocent Students who knows nothing about the affairs of the country and appeal to them to release the students in their captivity without further delay.
