KWACCIMA Marks International Day Of Cooperatives

The Kwara Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KWACCIMA) joins millions of Cooperatives in the World and particularly in Kwara State to mark the 2021 Intrenatiinal Day of Cooperatives, today July 3, 2021.

Every first Saturday in July is set aside by the United Nations to mark the Day and the theme of this year's Day is Rebuild better together.

KWACCIMA has noted the tremendous increase in the number of Cooperative Societies in the State; and the roles they are playing in providing financial support to members particularly during this period of covid-19 pandemic.

KWACCIMA however enjoins Cooperatives to enshrine more corporate governance ethics in their operations for more transparency and accountability thereby ensuring more capability to deliver more on their mandate to members.

KWACCIMA wishes all Cooperatives worldwide and particularly those in Kwara State a successful and peaceful celebration of the 2021 Internatiinal Day of Cooperatives.
