Rainstorm: KWSG Sympathizes With The People Of Edu, Promises Quick Intervention


The Governor who was represented by the Kwara State Commissioner for Special Duties, Hajiya Ahmed Mariam Hassana on the 6th of June, 2021 visited Edu Local Government Area to sympathize with victims and people of the LGA over the recent rainstorm that affected people and properties in various communities of the LGA.

Hajiya Ahmed during a visit to His Royal Highness, Etsu Tsaragi, Alhaji Aliyu Kpotwa Abdullahi to Sympathize with him and his emirate, extend the Governor's concern and sympathy over the sad incidence and while also assuring the people of the Government urgent support to the affected people in the Tsaragi District of LGA.

Mallam Mohammed Dede, the Principal, NYSC Model Secondary School, Kpandaragi also appeals to the Government for urgent intervention in rehabilitating some of the school buildings affected during the rainstorm in the LGA. 

The Honorable commissioner during the visit also paid a visit to His Royal Highness, Etsu Tsonga, Dr. Haliru Yahaya. The traditional ruler thanked the Governor of the State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for his concerns about the people's plight and also his swift response to the affected person's in the Local Government Area.

Hajiya Ahmed while assuring the people of the Local Government Area for the Governor's swift intervention also took the assessment of the damage done by the rainstorm which will avail the Ministry of Special Duties the comprehensive data of the damages recorded vis-a-vis intervention expected from the Government's end, she said.
