Kwara First Lady Visits Family Of Murdered UNILORIN Student

The First Lady of Kwara State, Amb. Dr. Mrs. Olufolake Abdulrazaq on Friday 4th June 2021, paid a condolence visit to the family of Blessing Olajide a student of the University of Ilorin who was murdered by yet to be identified persons.

The First Lady who was represented during the visit by the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs Mrs. Bosede Aremu prayed that the Almighty will comfort the family and assured the family that the long arm of the law will certainly catch up with the perpetrators of the gruesome act.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Dr. Dupe Shittu whose house the incident occurred thanked the First Lady for the visit and further appealed to the government to come to the aid of the family towards apprehending the perpetrators of the heinous crime.

Earlier during a visit to the police, it was assured that investigations are in top gear and perpetrators of the dastardly act will be brought to justice.
