Kwara PDP Expresses Shock, Sadness Over Balogun Alanamu's Death

...condoles his family, Emir of Ilorin 

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara State, has expressed shock and grief over the death of Balogun Alanamu of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Abubakar Akanbi Jos. 

The party in a condolence message signed by its State Chairman, Hon. Kola Shittu, condoled the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, immediate family of the deceased and the entire Balogun Alanamu community. 

Shittu described the demise of the traditional chief as a huge loss to his family, Ilorin Emirate and the state at large. 

He said: "With the death of Alhaji Abubakar Akanbi Jos, Ilorin has lost a committed and respected community leader, whose contributions to the unity, peace and development of his immediate community, Ilorin and Kwara as a whole can't be forgotten in many years. His death is indeed a huge loss to his family and Ilorin Emirate. 

"It is our prayer that Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and admit him into Aljanah Firdaus. We equally ask Allah to comfort his bereaved family, the Emir of Ilorin and all those who mourn his demise."
