O'odua Youths Parliament Call Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho To Order: Condemned Northern Youths Eviction Threats

The Speaker of O'odua Youth Parliament Comrade Abdulmajeed Oyeniyi has called Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho Osha to order on his recently furious and misguided statements  uttered on behalf of Yoruba descendants worldwide.

The speaker while addressing news men yesterday in Osun State, made his stands known that Chief Igboho lacks the moral and legal backing to open Nigeria's border as he promised to do and call for Yoruba secession, No to 2023 elections and that all Yorubas domiciled in the North to come back home, while not forgetting to condemn in its entirety the trending video of attacks and arrest of some men in military uniforms around his Ibadan Soka residence.

If I may ask on what capacity is he uttering such provocative war mongering hullabaloo statement, Chief Igboho should note that Nigeria is a country built on  constitution, rule of law and as such what ever should be done need to be within the confines of the law corridor.

Abdulmajeed equally called on all Nigerians to to accord Chief Igboho's statement to himself and his family alone, as Igboho is not and cannot be the mouthpiece of Yorubas worldwide, we are intellectuals and Omoluabi(virtuous) people that does thing in a right way, as such the entire Yorubas worldwide distance herself from Chief Igboho's furous and misguided statements and thereby  declare it void and nullity.

I want to call on Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho's media aide Mr Olayomi Olakunle koiki(Koiki Media) to embrace Omoluabi attitude by always guiding himself and his boss on the effect of negative utterances on Igboho's personality and more importantly the sacred Yoruba image, Koiki should note that there is always a day to flash back to our individuals actions and posterity, and this might cost him a lot in the nearest future if is not properly managed.

Let me equally  use this medium to reiterate our call on Arewa Youths dishing out 72hours ultimentum for Yorubas to vacate the Northern part of the country to urgently retract their vacation notice immediately, it important to note that no Nigerian is more Nigerian than others, however the Nigeria constitution allows every Nigerians to reside in any part of the country and goes by there legitimate ways of life, Arewa Youths should also note that Northern Elites has businesses and are eqaully living all across the south which may be irreparably disasterous if Yorubas ask them to leave as well.

I think we should all come together at this critical time that our country is faced with different insecurities challenges ranging from boko-haram, banditary, Fulani hardsmen to provide a lasting solution rather than creating more decisive impressions.

We as a body have been quiet for a while in order to consult widely with our apex body and other critical stakeholders in Yoruba Land, and check on all indices, to ensure we did not make mistake, so that in the end the choice we made does not hinder what should come to us, the insecurities menace has caused more havoc than how we can imagine.

Abdulmajeed equally  call on South West Governor's to be more proactive in there dealings most especially in providing security of lives and properties, the traditional rulers should also not keep mute in this perilous times rather be a voice for the masses.

Also, critical of note is the way and manner most of the Southwest Governors abandoned the the yoruba youth's leadership without any iota of attention, whereas Governors of other extractions are more accessible than ours.

I want to implore the entire Yorubas worldwide to desist from any act that can cause more division among Yorubas and Nigeria at large, as we have suffered more set back in the past as a result of our serial divisions.

Conclusively, I want to call on the federal government to as a matter of urgency look into the process of reviewing and reopening the Southwest borders closure, as it has jeopardised and crippled many business opportunities within and outside NIGERIA, and the federal government should also look inward to proffer lasting solutions to the insecurities menace in the country and employ strategic policies that are Pro-masses such as youths inclusiveness in government, creating employment opportunities as this will solve if not all but above 70% of insecurities challenges faced by the country; the federal government should also look on how to Forster a national Youths Summit Dialogue where youths across board will come together to jaw jaw on issues of national interest rather than war war.

God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria!!!
