Kwara APC Crisis: Fresh Plan To Remove BOB By AA Loyalists Uncovered

Fresh plot to remove Hon Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa as Kwara APC Caretaker Chairman by loyalists of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has been uncovered.

Our correspondent that some executive members loyal to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has concluded plan to organize press conference on Monday January 11, 2021 to advise Buni-led National Caretaker Committee not to issue appointment letter to BOB on account of imaginary suspension.

A credible source said AA loyalists have received mobilization to storm APC National Secretariat on Monday to present their resolution to Buni-led committee.

Recall that Hon. Bolarinwa in line with directives of Mai Mala Buni performed the swearing-in of State, Local governments and wards Caretaker Committee on December 14, 2020 in presence of Speaker Kwara State House of Assembly and other party stakeholders.

The source said the desperation of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and his loyalists to take over party structure ahead of APC membership revalidation/registration may destroy the party ahead 2023 general elections.

'' Political desperados are pushing Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to achieve their selfish goal. This plan will fail again like other several attempts including failed coup at Kwara Hotel in 2020.

''BOB remains the authentic Kwara APC Caretaker Chairman and he has been discharging his responsibilities in line with mandate given to him by APC National Caretaker Committee and Special Convention planning committee.'' The source explained.

''I will advice AA to shun political jobbers feeding fat on the crisis and unite the party ahead of January 25 membership revalidation/registration exercise.''
