Pictures: People Chased Out Of Club Cubana As Lagos State Government Seals The Club (See Why)

The 19th day of December 2020, a Saturday as usual when people love to flex, have fun and party especially go clubbing.

Recall, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu, on Friday, December 10th placed a ban on concerts, street parties, and nightclubs as part of measures to contain the spread of COVID19 in the state.

On Saturday night, a team from the Lagos State Safety Commission led by the Lagos state commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, stormed the Ikeja GRA facility of Cubana grills and shut down the facility for hosting its customersdespite the ban on night clubs.

So it was a turn of events at the Lagos State popular clubbing spot, Cubana, as it had the Lagos State Safety Commission seal off Cubana Night Club in Ikeja, along other facilities & clubs for non-compliance to the state government’s recent protocols on Covid-19 measures.

According to the NCDC, the country is currently experiencing a second wave of the pandemic and as there have been spontaneous record of increase in the number of confirmed cases of the virus. Hence, a new phase of lockdown is soon assured to commence as a preventative measure.
