Kwara Deputy Speaker Gives Hope To Imode’s People Over Dilapidated Road


The Deputy Speaker of Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Raphael Adetiba-Olanrewaju has promised the people of Imode and all the users of Imode Road that the state government will soon rebuild the bridge that has turned to a death trap for the users.


Imode road has been obliging to motorist from Ilorin to Abuja which they finds so short to their varrious destinations. This is evident in the recent narrow escape by one motorist who would have fell into the dilapidated bridge.

While visiting the scene the Deputy Speaker commended the effort of the youths and that of the Community at large for effort put in place to sustain the bridge and the untarred road till this very moment.


He however promised to do all within his power to facilitate the progress of the project as such has already been submitted to the governor.

Hon. Adetiba also paid the Kabiesi of Imode a visit, where he reinstated the governor's committment to community development, while thanking him, the kabiesi described him as an exemplary leader who has the interest of the masses at heart.


As fate would have it during the Deputy Speaker's visit to the community, Senator Simon Ajibola was coming from Abuja plying the same road. The Fomer senator recognized with the people and also exchanged pleasantries with the Deputy speaker Hon. Rapheal Adetiba.
