COVID-19: Gobir Commences Distribution Of Food Items To Kwara Local Gov'ts

Kwara Philanthropist and APC gubernatorial aspirant in the 2019 general elections, Waziri Yakubu Gobir has commenced the distribution of food items to vulnerable families in Kwara State. This follows a week's after his donation of the N30m Gobir Health Fund.

Information gathered from the verified Facebook page of the Gobir Organization Foundation which was later confirmed by the Gobir media office, indicates that the Organization has started the distribution of food items as part of efforts to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable people during this lockdown period.

The page with pictures reads; “It is obvious that many people who feed from their daily activities are going through a difficult period. We are concerned about the security implications of this desperation for food. The stay at home order will also be violated if the issue of access to food is not adequately addressed.

May Almighty Allah protect us from the deadly COVID 19, and restore us all back to good health quickly.

Pictures of food items in storage and vehicles loading to transport goods to various distribution points were sighted at the Organization's premises.
