Olofa of Offa To Lead Kwara Traditional Rulers To Mashood Mustapha Installation As Oluomo of Yorubaland


A Foremost Yoruba traditional ruler, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife, would lead other traditional rulers from Nigeria to Ghana by this weekend, where Hon. Mashood Mustapha and  five other Nigerians would be conferred with chieftaincy tittles of various categories by His Royal Majesty, Oba Hamza Peregrino-Brimah VIII (Paramount Ruler) Yoruba Community in Ghana.

MM, as he is fondly called, will bag the prestigious title of Olu Omo Of Yoruba Land, Region of Accra, Republic of Ghana.

The event will hold at Forecourt, State House, Accra with Ghanaian President, Nana Akufo- Addo and Nigerian Ambassador to Ghana, Amb. Femi Abikoye  in attendance.

The charitable business man and former governorship aspirant in Kwara state  and a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress( APC) was offered the title which was ratified by the Elders-In-Council to the Royal Highness last year.

The offer was conveyed in a  letter of notification presented to Hon. Mashood Mustapha at his home in Ilorin, Kwara state, Nigeria.

The Olofa of Offa, Kwara state, Nigeria, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi, Esuwoye II, who is a long- time friend of the former National lawmaker would lead traditional leaders team from Kwara State to the event.

Business moguls  and members of the  Political class in   Nigeria and beyond are expected to grace the occasion to honour one of their own.
