Kwara Lawmaker Bags Humanitarian Of The Year Award
The Kwara State House of Assembly member representing Share/Oke-Ode constituency, Hon. Owolabi Olatunde Razaq has been conferred with the Award of Humanitarian Of the Year by the University of Abuja Student's Union Government.
The University of Abuja Student's Union Government (SUG) Dinner and Award event was a platform uses in celebrating the philanthropist, worthy politicians in our society and the most brilliant students of the Institution.
The event which was held on Friday at the Evelyn Creation And Events Center, 3rd Avenue Gwarinpa Area of Abuja.
While receiving the award, Hon. Owolabi appreciates the executives of the union deeming him fit for the award.
"I am extremely honored to be receiving such an important award (Humanitarian Award of the year). I am earnestly grateful for the recognition I have received for my good work, because I am very sure that every other nominee for this award was as capable if not more, of winning this award."
"I have faced several challenges on my way here, but each one of them has only strengthened me to make me the person I am today."
"I dedicate this Award to God, my constituency and the Speaker of the Kwara State 9th Assembly Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi Salihu." He concluded.
When presenting the Award to him, the SUG president acknowledged Hon. Owolabi Razaq's services to humanity and he also described him as a man of the people.
Dignitaries at the event include Senator Ned Nwokwo, Royal Fathers, Captains of Industries, and students Leaders.
