Eid-l-Kabeer: Engr. Adeyemi Charges Leaders On Keeping Public Covenants

Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun has charged all elected leaders across all levels in Kwara State to be mindful of their promises to and expectations of the people in the course of their stewardship. This was revealed while discussing issues of the day at his country home in Esie.

According to him, beyond the galore of celebration and merriments of Ileya, our leaders at all levels must always be conscious of keeping promises made with the people as well  as providing for their basic needs especially on security and economy. Leaders must be reliable like Prophet Ibrahim (AS).

You will see the acts of kindness in the way God met the basic needs of Ajarat and Ismael in the desert, and blessed the land to become a booming economy in the world. Hence, all Leaders in elective and appointed positions must be sensitive to the plights and yearning of the people for the needed development and progress of Kwara State.

While praying for the State and the Nation, Adeyemi admonished Muslim faithfuls that as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim and his household, everyone of us is  enjoined to be faithful to the Oneness, be dutiful to the way, and submissive to the will of the Almighty Allah, absolutely.
