Meet The PDP Candidate For KWHA Omupo Constituency


Abdulrasaq Abiodun Oko-Ode...

Abdulrazak Abiodun Lawal Oko-Ode was born to the family of Alh. Isah Lawal Idi in Agbede Ile Doyin compound, Oko-Ode, Ifelodun local government area, Kwara State.

He studied Marketing at Bayero University, Kano and earned MBA in Marketing Specialization. Abdulrasak Lawal Oko-Ode is a member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria, (APCON) and Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN).

Lawal Oko-Ode has broad experience having worked in various capacities. Before deciding to become a full entepreneur, despite the reluctance of his employers who never wanted to let him go, he worked as Regional Manager, Marketing (North West/North East) of De United Foods Industry Limited, producers of Indomie Noodle. He was later moved to South South/South East region in 2016 to help grow the market.

Determined to also create jobs and contribute his quota to building domestic economy, Lawal Oko-Oba established Amubarak Marketing Agency International LTD a decad ago. He is also the Chief Executive officer, CEO, Amail Merchandise and Logistic LTD.

He has since offered employment to hundreds of youths in Kwara State, especially from Omupo Constituency

While in school, Lawal Oko-Ode in his quest for social justice and emancipation of students served in different capacities including NANS Financial Secretary 2002/2003, Director of Sports, Students Union Government, BUK, Joint Campus Committee Chairman Kano-Katsina Axis, NANS 2000-2002 as well as Public Relation Officer, PRO, National Association of Kwara State Students, NAKSS, for four years.

Due to his unquantifiable passion for the development of the Igbomina race, he was involved in several activities and in the process, rose to serve as President, Igbomina Youth Assembly, Kano branch and also President, Yoruba Community in Kano.

Abdulrasak Lawal Oko-Ode is the PDP candidate for Omupo Constituency comprising Igbaja 1-3, Idofian 1-2, Omupo, Agunji and Ora wards.
