Christian Group Offers Prayer For The Success Of Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq At March 9 Poll

Concerned church leaders and Christians from 16 local government areas making up Kwara State on Thursday gathered at the Comfort Hall GRA Ilorin to offer prayes for the success of APC gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq at the March 9 poll.

The event was a special prayer and thanksgiving session organized for the APC gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Abdulraham Abdulrazaq.

It was attended by some dignitaries which included Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo, Chief Sunday Ibitoye and Mr. Yinka Bello who represented APC gubernatorial candidate.

The church leaders were unanimous in their thoughts that Kwara State is in dare need of intervention now than ever.

"While we thank God for the success he gave the progressives at the last Presidential and National Assembly elections, we must not forget that our case in Kwara State is different. We need our own government that will listen to us and weave its policy around the yearnings and aspirations of the people.

"We have long been abandoned and deprived everything good in this state. Our prayers are to call on heavens to intervene in our matter ", they submitted.

Some of the church leaders included Pastor A Adebayo, Apostle Babatunde, Pastor Babalola Oluwatoyin, Elder Babatunde and Pastor (Mrs) Olatunde.

Others are Rev. Olukoya, Rev. Kolawole, Pastor Ajagbe David and Paul Kolo among other men of God.
