As APC Esie/Ijan Ward floors PDP...

The people of Esie-Ijan Ward came out enmass to support and secure electoral victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded HoR Bye election. In the Ward, the APC polled 413 votes to defeat its closet rival PDP with 300 votes in Saturday November 17th bye election into the house of representatives, Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke Ero Federal Constituency. Meanwhile, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, in his demonstration of Party loyalty and commitment, mobilised and encouraged thousands of his supporters across the voting LGAs, who trouped out enmass and voted for the APC candidate, Ajuloopin to defeat PDP.

Reacting to the overall performance of the Party, Adeyemi described Ajuloopin's victory as a pointer to the people's yearning for true representation in the leadership structures of the State.

The results of the bye election is a clear indication that our people are truly ready to change the status quo of those (mis)managing their resources for the past 15 years in the state. Ajuloopin's victory is the pathfinder of the project Rescue Kwara.

He commended all the APC Stakeholders in the State Led by the Honourable Minister, Alh. Lai Muhammed for their concerted efforts toward during the electioneering process.

In addition, he applauded the electoral Umpire, security agencies and others who contributed to the success of the elections. I think the INEC and security agencies needed to be commended for ensuring a free and fair electoral atmosphere during the election.
