Adeyemi Balogun Commiserates With Irepodun APC

ENACT Principal and Kwara South  Senatorial aspirant in the just concluded APC Primaries, Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun commiserated with the people of Irepodun Local Government and the APC family at large over the death of some Local Government party excos in a ghastly motor accident along Oro-Omu-aran.

This was contained in a message delivered on Friday November 23rd by a team of ENACT Coordinators led by Mr Ayo Yusuf on behalf of the politician during the team's condolence and get well visits to the ten families affected.

In the message delivered to the families of the deceased, Adeyemi described the incident as unfortunate and their death a monumental loss to the party in its  struggle for political  liberation in the state.

He however prayed for the repose of the deceased and the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss while also thanking God for those that survived the accident and wished them speedy recovery.

Adeyemi Balogun further urged party members and Faithfuls not to be deterred by this unfortunate occurrence, but rather they should be more resolute in their quest for a liberated Kwara.

While responding, some families of the deceased expressed their gratitude to the ENACT Principal for the kind gesture and further pledged their unalloyed support to the political struggle in the state.

The condolence visit took the team to Arandun, Omu-Aran,  Esie, Agbonda, and Oko.

It will be recalled that four (4) members of the Irepodun APC including 3 local excos members lost their lives while six (6) others were injured in the accident.

Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun used the opportunity to remind us that bad roads and bad healthcare system are direct result of bad governance we have been lamenting about un Kwara South.  It is true that accidents happen on the best of roads. However, the sorry state of our roads is ever a contributory factor to accidents with almost daily occurrence.

Should one be lucky to survive the accident, lack of serviceable trauma and intensive care units mean preventable deaths to many.

This is why the fight for liberation is ever so important so that true dividends of democracy can get to the people.  A system that allows for vigorous debate of ideas is always preferable.
