KWHA 2019: I stand Better Chance Against My Opponent From APC - Hon. Mathew Okedare

The deputy speaker of Kwara State house of Assembly, Hon. Mathew Okedare representing Lanwa/Ejidongari  constituency of Moro Local government at the hallow chamber of Kwara state, has promised to intensify efforts toward bringing the dividends of democracy to the doorstep of the people of his constituency. This he said while speaking with correspondence of this news medium who visited his residence early today for a media interactive session.

Okedare while appreciating his constituents for their supports towards his reemergence as the flag bearer of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party which will make him represent the constituency once again at the state assembly as members of the upcoming 9th senate.

The lawmaker who emerged amidst of other contestants of his party expressed that he stand a better chance against the candidate of the opposition All progressives Congress who happened to be his opponent in the last election. He said, "my reemergence is a testimony of overwhelming love I enjoins from the good people of my constituency and the confidence reposed in my candidature inferring from the fact that my expression of interest form was purchased by my people who believed that I still have much to offer them if I go back to represent them again at the State Assembly."

On his achievements so far, Okedare said with all sense of modesty, he has fulfilled his electoral promises as verifiable evidences are abound across the seven wards he is representing.

The Jebba born lawmaker said aside being a vocal voice in the hallow chamber, more than 300 youths and women most especially farmers and petty traders across the 7 wards of the constituency have benefitted from the series of empowerment programs initiated by him over the last 3 years.
