Kwara Loses a Father, AGF - Hon. Adetiba
The Deputy Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Adetiba-Olanrewaju Raphael has expressed sadness over the death of Alhaji Abdulganiyu Folohunso AbdulRazaq, OFR. (SAN), the first lawyer in Northern Nigeria and father to his Excellency Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Executive Governor of Kwara State.
Hon. Adetiban in his condolence message signed by his S.A. Media, commiserates with the Kwara State Governor, The Emir of Ilorin, HRH, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu Gambari, Ilorin Emirate and the good people of Kwara, lamenting that the fatherly services of AGF would be sorely missed.
He prayed to Allah to accept him as a true believer, give Governor AbdulRahman and the entire AbdulRazaq family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The late Mutawali of Ilorin who died at the age of 93 was born in 1927. Until his death, was the first Finance commissioner for Kwara and Chairman, Nigeria body of Benchers. During his time, AGF also served as Ambassador to Republic of Ivory Coast, Minister of state for Transport all in 1960s.
