Says AbdulRasaq is in a hurry to make Kwara better...

Entrepreneur and Politician, Olushola Odetundun has made great commendations on Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq on his first year in office.

While congratulating Kwara’s Chief Helmsman on his one year anniversary, he said AbdulRasaq had offered a focused, committed and detribalised leadership since his ascension into office.

He said since AbdulRasaq took up residence at the Government House Ilorin, he has made it clear that there is no time for ceremonies by introducing and implementing an emergency supplementary budget at the beginning of his administration set out to turn the state to the big construction site that it is today. This Odetundun said, has been executed with an equitable spread from North, Central to South, breaking tribal sentiments.

While speaking in a chat from Omu-Aran, Irepodun Local Government Area, LGA, with our correspondent, the fast rising APC Starlwart said “Governor AbdulRasaq is a leader prepared for us for a time as this. Imagine what Kwara would now look like if not for his hands-on approach in managing our COVID-19 response.

“All over the 16 Local Government Areas in the state, there are rapid construction works ongoing across the length and breadth of Kwara for all to see.

He further added, “Here in Irepodun for example, there’s the construction of Museum road in Esie, Oro grammar school, Taiwo road in Omu Aran also  Government Technical College in Esie and many other road maintenance works carried out from time to time. The people are seeing it and that is what propaganda can’t buy- real developments.

“Governor AbdulRasaq’s Iseya slogan is proof that he’s in a hurry to make Kwara way better than he met it. We can only imagine what would be achieved in the coming three years.”

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq took the oath of office on May 29 2019 after the widely popular O to ge campaign that ushered in a major swing to the progressives for the first time in the state since the beginning of the fourth Republic in 1999.
