Ilorin South APC Crisis Thicken As 7 Out Of 11 Ward Chairmen Boycotts Peace Meeting


Ilorin South local Government chapter of the Kwara State All Progressives Congress, APC, crisis continue as seven (7) out of eleven (11) Ward chairmen boycotted peace talk meeting and rejected the decision taken by the minority on behalf of all over the suspension of the local government party chairman Mallam Monsur Ademola.

The aggrieved ward chairmen in a press statement made available to this medium has rejected the resolution of the four (4) ward chairmen, thrown weight behind the acting Chairman and also pledge their unalloyed loyalty and support to Kwara state government under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. 

The press statement in details;

This is to inform the general public that the announcement purportedly made on behave of Ilorin south local government ward chairmen 2 days ago that we the ward chairmen are not in support of the decision taken by local government exco on the suspension of Ilorin south local government party chairman Mallam Monsur Ademola is totally fake. The step was taken by only just 4 ward chairmen out of 11 while the other 7 wards chairmen were not in attendance in the so called meeting. 

We hereby inform the general public that the chairmen of Akanbi 1, Akanbi 2, Balogun fulani 1, Balogun fulani 2, Okaka 1, Okaka 2 and Oke Ogun are in support of the suspension of the local government party chairman Mallam Monsur Ademola. 

We also give our total support to the acting chairman and other executives of the local government and pledge to contribute our quota to the smooth running of the party in Ilorin South, Kwara Central, Kwara State and Nigeria at large. 

We finally declare our unalloyed loyalty and support to Kwara state government under the able leadership of Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahaman.
