Kwara-Lagos To Partner With Foreign Investors To Foster Development

The Kwara State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has reiterated its commitment to partner with local and foreign investors to create more employment for kwarans.

The Kwara State First Lady, Mrs Olufolake Abdulrazaq affirmed this at a meeting with the Lagos state goverment following the Nigeria-France Business and Investment Forum held in Abuja recently.

Vice president Yemi Osinbanjo, Governor of Kwara State, and First Lady of Kwara State at the Grand finale Dinner of Nigeria France Investment Forum held in Abuja.

The meeting, which was with the Lagos State governor and his Deputy and also with Nigeria's Ambassador to France, Amb Modupe Erele who brought 30 French organisations to Nigeria to explore potential for partnership with Nigerian counterparts in various sectors, was a follow up to decipher the various sectors that Kwara and Lagos states could showcase for partnership in order to bring the needed advancement in various fields and sectors for job creation and improvement to sectors.

Coupled with showcasing Kwara and Lagos investment and export potentials in France, the meeting was held to also foster good relationship to ensure the needed advancement in infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, solid minerals, education, guttering and explore other sectors of importance like finished products such as textiles, artifacts (pottery) and several others in the two states.
